Marswalk Planner
The first astronauts on Mars will need one map that combines everything the robots have learned. This planner stacks terrain, minerals, rock cover, radio coverage and walk-back limits for the western floor of Jezero Crater. It then plans a walk from base camp to science targets and checks it against suit consumables, daylight and today's Mars weather.

Where this is
Jezero Crater, 45 km wide, at 18.4°N 77.5°E. The box is the 8 × 8 km area mapped here. Shaded relief from the Mars Global Surveyor laser altimeter (MOLA), loaded live from NASA Mars Trek.

About the data: the Mars clock (season, local solar time, sunrise, Perseverance sol) uses NASA GISS Mars24 equations, and the Earth–Mars distance uses JPL orbital elements. The regional relief is live MOLA data from NASA Mars Trek. The 8 km map is a modeled reconstruction of western Jezero built from published mission results: the delta front, Séítah, Máaz, Kodiak and Belva are where the missions put them, but positions are approximate and the 25 m terrain is synthetic. Weather values are a climatology model fitted to Perseverance MEDA ranges, not today's measured report. Real rasters for each layer: HiRISE DTMs, the USGS Jezero CTX DEM, and the PDS Geosciences Node. Not for real mission use.
